In my experience whenever you change the default nudes, you will have to delete this file to get your new skins to show up in game. IMPORTANT - If your skin does not work you may have to delete the file simCompositorCache.package in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\ - This will not harm anything, the file will recreate itself automatically and reset your sims' skins. Save the resource.cfg file into the Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\ folder (NOT packages folder) Right-click on this resource.cfg link and choose "Save As".

Then create Packages folder in Mods folder.
